A song with the winds of change under its wings, ‘London’ is the life affirming debut from New York artist Cote. With a strong but whimsical sound, there is an air of Stevie Nicks about the woman behind the mysterious moniker. Clearly autobiographic, Cote says the track was written "over a period of two years, adding and reworking verses as my life continued to shift” and you can feel that progression in the music. Very much a song about her, it’s the perfect introduction to this new US chartreuse. - SJ
